Blushing for a Date Weekend

how to style wear a floral skirt

Last weekend the hubby and I went to Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs and Spa.  It was the first full day I have ever spent away from the little one.  He’s two years and 9 months old, so it was a bit over due but still really hard (stage 4 clinger right here!).  He spent the weekend with his Grammy and had so much fun, but goodness, even one full day away from him makes me miss his sweet little smiles and phrases so much.

We have been trying to make it to Ojo Springs for the past 6 months, but lining up 3 schedules made it difficult and there was no way we wanted to be soaking in hot springs during the 100 degree summer days.  It was definitely worth the wait!  The hotel has a rustic, northern New Mexico feel that creates a relaxing environment.  The springs and hot pools have the most dreamy setting and the surrounding mountains were beautiful.  I’ll be dedicating an entire post to the springs, so stay tuned.

The LC collection this fall is so pretty with it’s pastel color scheme, lace details, and floral patterns.  I seriously bought half of the collection. This floral skirt paired with a blush top and lace up heels created an ultra feminine look that was perfect for lunch at the artisian restaurant at the hotel.  The skirt is made of a heavy material, which will easily transition during the colder months with tights and blush flats.

Be sure to check out the LC collection.  Despite it’s low price tags, every piece feels high end and beautiful.

This is such a GORGEOUS look. I love the colors and sleeve detail. Perfect for your fun weekend. Glad you made it though. I imagine it is hard to be away from your cute little guy.

It was beautiful! Hot springs in NC sounds awesome too, especially when the leaves are changing. Thanks for offering the link up and dropping by my blog
