Christmas Cheer

Christmas has seriously sneaked up on me.  This year we bought most of the little ones presents online, but last weekend I realized I hadn’t bought presents for anyone else including the hubby (oops!).  We spent Saturday morning at the outdoor mall picking out gifts for family and friends (and making mental notes of what I need to get for the hubby).  The center was decked out for Christmas including the biggest Christmas tree I have ever seen!

One of the ways I get in the holiday spirit is to dress festive all week long.  Since it was a warm day, I paired a lacy white skirt with a classic blazer and added pops of red with a sweater, heels and a red lip.  My hubby kept telling me, “you look festive!” which made me so happy.  I think he’s starting to understand fashion!  Half way through the morning I switched out the red heels for these flats, which looked just as cute but not quite as Christmas-y.

You can see some more of our family Christmas cheer here:  snowball fight, sleigh ride, deck the halls.

You look so beautiful, Carly! I love your entire look, which is festive and perfect for Christmas week! Wow, let’s talk about that tree! It’s so beautiful and huge; they managed to decorate it so beautifully! It looks awesome as a backdrop to your photos, too. I hope you’re having a wonderful day so far. Don’t feel bad, I just got my hubby’s gifts today, haha! I think I tend to procrastinate getting his gifts because he’s the tough one to buy for, so darn picky, haha!

    XO,

Lovely holiday look! Your red heels are great. I had to shop in advance this year because we did Christmas with my family early. I’m impressed you braved the crowds. Merry Christmas!
