Cash for Clothes

Sweater: Old Navy (old) // Jeans: Express // Earrings: Bauble Bar

Between re-doing my wardrobe and having a growing toddler, it seems we are constantly looking for a place to re-home our clothes.  I am a firm believer in donating or selling our gently used items.  Honestly though, I always dread the trips to good will and consignment shops.  It’s a hassle to load up the car with bags, get the little one in to the car and then drag all the bags in to the shop with the little one in tow, but I can’t stand to throw away good items either.  I was pretty exited to discover Thred Up, an online consignment shop.  Individuals can request a bag be sent straight to their mailbox and all they have to do is fill the bag and mail it, for free.  Thred Up sorts through the clothes and will give cash via PayPal for high end, gently used garments and will donate any of the items that aren’t bought to charity.  It’s a win, win….more room for new cloths and more money to buy them with!

Thanks for stopping by!

It’s a great idea to give your clothes to a relative. I’m way taller than all my relatives, so that doesn’t usually work well for me.

    Hello, darling!

You always find and share such great links. Thanks to you, I subscribed to TheSkimm (and recently had a few more politically charged talking points to share with my father during our little coffee date.) 🙂

I’m shocked no one has mentioned this to you yet, but you look beautiful!! I absolutely love your hairstyle here; the braid is so feminine and lovely, while the length of your hair adds an element of loose, natural insouciance.

I’m glad you liked the The Skimm. It has been so helpful for me. I hope you like Thred Up too! You can also buy clothes from them, which has been great for finding awesome deals on designer clothes
