Cool Desert Nights

Blazer: H&M // Tee: Express // Jeans: Express // Loafers: Gap (old) // Necklace: custom made

Our evenings are  almost always spent outside in the courtyard, on the porch or the patio (New Mexico houses have an odd amount of divided outdoor spaces…..it’s a bit weird).  We sip “lemon-egg” as my toddler calls it and try to relax while the little runs around watering plants with the greatest enthusiasm you have ever seen.  The kid loves to water! While the days are sunny and seventy this time of year, the evenings are cool and windy, so every Spring I get a casual, fitted blazer that can be thrown over any outfit for a bit of warmth, yet doesn’t distract from the look of the day.

Beautiful casual look. I love blazers like that too. Perfect for the weather right now and they work with (almost) everything. Haha never heard of lemon-egg. I hope it’s yummy ;-). Franky I hate to water that is probably the reason why all my plants die 😀 Happy hump day!

Oh, I should have clarified…..he calls Lemonaide, “Lemon-egg” because he can’t pronounce it. Gardening is so hard. We killed all our plants last year, but this year we are determined to keep them alive. Hope you had a great weekend!

Thank you, Elle! I have been wearing my hair in side twists a lot lately. It’s one of the few quick dos that seems to work with growing out bangs. I’m glad you like the outfit. Thanks so much for stopping by!
