Last Saturday we spent the day rug and chandelier shopping. Honestly, it wasn’t a task I was looking forward to because home decor is not my thing. Luckily, it ended up being pretty fun! I wore this boho chic outfit styled around this floral print crop top (on major sale right now). My hubby kept making fun of me, because all the rugs I got excited about (but didn’t buy, don’t worry!) matched my colorful top. We ended up buying 3 rugs, so hopefully our house won’t be such an echo chamber anymore. It amazes me how much more put together the house looks by just adding a few rugs. It’s still going to a year or more until the house is fully decorated, but we are making some progress.
I just can’t get enough of this floral print. I bought the matching dress (seen here) and had to resist buying the matching skirt to create a matching separates outfit with the crop top. The Neiman Marcus Last Call website definitely has captured my heart and monthly clothes budget!
The top knot hairstyle seems to be here to stay! It’s on it’s way to becoming a classic and I am very happy about that. It has been in the nineties in New Mexico, so there is no way I can wear my hair down all day. It’s just way too hot. I love throwing it up in a quick top knot whenever we will be out running errands.
