Last weekend the hubby and I had a date night. It doesn’t happen very often that we go out with out the little one, so when we do have a night to ourselves, I take full advantage of not being on mommy duty and wear delicate dresses like this beautiful embroidery dress. You may remember this post from a few months ago, where I talked about my love for embroidery pieces like this one, but they all had a shocking price tag. Recently I found this affordable embroidery dress and while it may not be the most toddler friendly dress that I own, I feel so pretty and feminine in it that it’s become my new special occasion dress.

For our date night we spent the evening exploring Old Town. We had about twenty minutes to wander the beautiful church garden and hang out in the center square before it started pouring rain. I had planned to spend the whole evening exploring the little stores and eating treats from the candy shops, but the rain forced us inside a random restaurant for drinks and appetizers. There was a silver lining as the restaurant had the most perfect lounge that was both romantic and relaxing and they had delicious appetizers. While the night wasn’t what I had planned, it was lovely evening spent with the hubby.
