Halloween Ready!

The little one and I are hosting a toddler Halloween brunch.  To say we are excited, is definitely an understatement!  For the past week we have been coming up with fun activities for the party, collecting pumpkins, and picking up fall inspired breakfast treats.  It has been so much fun and the little one is so excited to get to help with all the projects!

The party is tomorrow, but I didn’t want to wait to share in case you are looking for fun Halloween activities to do with your little ones.  We are going to decorate pie size pumpkins, read Curious George’s Halloween Party, make ghosts from bouncy balls and tissue paper, trick or treat, and explore our homemade balloon pumpkin patch.  I think it’s going to be super cute!

With all the running around for party planning I’ve been wearing lots of practical outfits lately.  A classic chambray top with my favorite black skinny jeans is my go to look for a busy day.  The combination put together and pairing it with silver flats (only $23) gives an effortlessly chic look.

My cheeks are so sore from blowing up 60 balloons, but it’s worth it to have a cute DIY pumpkin patch at home!  Here is little tutorial on how we are making our balloon pumpkins.

So cute! We took my son to the pumpkin patch for the first time last week (he’s almost 2) and now everything that looks like a pumpkin is “punkin patch” 🙂 Can’t wait until next year when he starts to grasp Halloween and we we can do projects like these together. Hope you have a great brunch.

It was really fun, but sadly we didn’t get many pictures to share. 15, two year olds trying to take pictures just doesn’t work. I hope you and Beau are having a great time getting ready for Halloween too!
