The Fourth of July is rapidly approaching, so it’s time to start planning a red, white and blue outfit. Today I’m continuing with the “Styled 5 Ways” series with five July Fourth outfits, with that in mind.
July 4th calls for an all American outfit with red, white and blue. Before I started the blog, I always wore blue chino shorts, a white tee, and simple sandals. Now, I have so many exciting red, white, and blue clothes to choose from that I am still trying to decide which outfit or outfits I will wear.
We are spending July Fourth in Durango, Colorado watching the parade and enjoying the festivities at the park. Then we’ll watch the fireworks from our hotel, which I’ve heard will be amazing. The little one is terrified of loud noises, so we may have pop back into our hotel room. Oh well, at least it will be convenient to pop back into our hotel room if he doesn’t like it.
If you are struggling to come up with July Fourth outfits, try laying all of your red, white, and blue clothes and accessories on your bed and mix and match them. It always surprises me how many outfits I can create using this technique.
Below is the sixth July 4th outfit, so clearly I can’t count, but I have good intentions. Each time I created a red, white and blue outfit I couldn’t help think that before I re-did my wardrobe I didn’t have such a wide variety of clothes. As a result, I wanted to make sure to include a basic July 4th outfit that everyone could easily re-create. This outfit is my back to basics, July Fourth outfit inspiration.
Also, these red, white, and blue outfits are perfect for Memorial Day and Labor Day too!
