Mama in a Maxi

maxi dress

I bought this maxi dress several years ago when I was broke medical student. I’ve worn it through boards, pregnancy, a Mexico vacation, and now through mommy-hood! That’s the great thing about a good maxi dress, they never go out of style and are so practical. Most recently, I wore this dress for a day running errands and meeting up with friends for the little one and was reminded again of how much I love maxi dresses. They look elegant, mask a few extra pounds effortlessly (I wore this in the first trimester of pregnancy to hide my bump), and never cause wardrobe malfunctions when grocery shopping with a toddler.

Since this maxi dress is several years old, I thought it would be a great idea to do a round up of some beautiful maxi dresses that are just as practical. This maxi is similar fabric and fit to the one I’m wearing above. The blush color with the sheer detail is gorgeous on this maxi.  This maxi is the perfect print for summer.
