I’m ready for summer to officially get here, so my clothing choices have been representing summer attire more than spring outfits lately. Luckily the weather is cooperating and has been sunny and seventy every afternoon lately. Since I usually don’t get changed out of my work out clothes until after lunch, I’ve been able to start incorporating trendy summer items, like this patterned crop top, into my outfits already.
I’m still adjusting to the beauty of our new neighborhood. There are so many more trees and colorful plants than where we lived before. These pictures were taken next to our house on the trail for the garbage cans. It’s crazy, even the paths to roll out the garbage cans look manicured! The high maintenance lady in me loves it! I remind myself everyday how blessed I am to live here.
Crop tops can be a bit intimidating, but when styled thoughtfully can be a cute, trendy item to spice up any wardrobe. I live by the rule if you show a lot of skin on the top half of the body then cover up the bottom half of the body by wearing jeans, long shorts, or a long skirt. This rule applies well to styling crop tops and can help keep them from looking too revealing.
