Dress: T-Mart (c/o) // Shoes: Franco Sarto // Jewelry: custom made
This time of year it almost feels magical. The birds are chirping, the trees are covered in flowers, and tulips are blossoming everywhere. The warm weather beckons to me and I want to slip into loose, flowing dresses like this one from T-mart even though it’s not quite warm enough yet. This was the case during our recent trip to Santa Fe. The weather looked bright and beautiful so I wore this dress to breakfast and as we wandered the spa grounds I realized sixty degree weather is not warm enough for these dresses yet, but it will be soon!
Flowing maxi dresses are on constant repeat in my closet during the warmer months, so I’m accumulating quite a collection of them. This dress is one of my new favorites. The peacock print is so interesting and colorful, plus this dress is only thirteen dollars, so how could I not love it?! While having a variety of dresses to wear in the summer is fun, let’s face it….warm weather activities are hard on clothes. Picnicking leads to grass stains, a miss step at the pool leads to being soaked in chlorine and playing at the park with the little one gets me covered in sand. Such a glamorous life, I know! These activities are the perfect example why it’s important to choose affordable, trendy dresses, so our minds can be on fun summer activities not on keeping our dresses in perfect shape.
