Snow Day

Coat: North Face (wearing only the inner shell) // Jeans: Tommy Hilfiger // Boots: old

It feels like the weather is taunting me.  Last week it was sunny and seventy, so the little one and I were out all week playing at the park and exploring the zoo.  This week it has been cold and dreary, and Saturday morning we woke up to several inches of snow.  Instead of planting pansies in the garden like we had planned, we played in the snow, went for a little walk, cuddled up in front of the fireplace, and drank way too much hot chocolate.  While I love a cozy weekend with the family, I can not wait to spend day after day roaming the country club and lounging by the pool with the little one.  Bring on the warm weather, I am so over the cold!

I’m the type of person that will seriously refuse to go outside if it is less than 50 degrees.  I am a baby when it comes to the cold, but a few years ago I invested in this North Face 3-in-1 coat that has been a complete game changer.  It has a removable fleece coat liner along with a water & wind proof shell that it attaches to.  It is a dream for surviving all types of weather and keeps me warm enough to go outside and enjoy the snow!

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Thanks, Elena! I definitely treasure playing in the snow with the little one, since it happens so rarely in the southwest, but I do hope we both get some spring weather soon
